Dish Granted
In Watcher's "Dish Granted," host and amateur home cook Steven Lim has 24 hours to create the most extravagant dish he can for a guest, often taking a familiar favorite and pushing it over the top with luxe ingredients. The guests change every episode, from friends in the Watcher orbit to well-known faces from film and YouTube, and when Steven gets stuck, a "Phone-A-Friend" with real kitchen know-how steps in. The tone is playful, warm and gloriously excessive. If you enjoy watching comfort food turn into a high-priced spectacle, the question is always the same: can Steven's ambition actually win over his guest?
